good morning beauties! i get a ton of compliments on my skin. people are always what it is i do and the products that i use, so today its all about my morning regime and how it allows me to get ready in 10 minutes or less.
i am a minimalist when it comes to my face. i don’t wear makeup, have no clue how to pick it out. And certainly do not know how to apply it.
i fill in my brow.
add my favorite lippie.
and then i’m out the door.
ten minutes tops.
of course, being a girl on the constant go like the rest of you bossbabes
time management is everything.
thus, i take extremely good care of my skin; minding the products i use and trying to drink at least one gallon of water a day.
and i apply a mask at least once a week.
however, for day to day to care
i start with my favorite toner.
followed by my favorite cleanser.
nail brush to scrub (it beats buying one of those overly expensive microderma systems).
more of my toner.
apply my favorite moisturizer.
and then i am done.
out the door.
and off to conquer the world.
so today, i share with you my favorite products to use on a day to day basis.
step one: toner
i usually use about two to three cottonballs.
step two: facial cleanser
i absolutely love my african black soap i found at my local health food store. it does a great job of stripping my pores.
when i’m not using my black soap, i turn to to yestococonut’s hydrate and restore ultra hydrating creme cleanser (also bought at my local target).
because i am fashionably frugal with my coins instead of buying one of those overly expensive microderma systems, i simply opted for a cheap nail brush to give my face a good scrub regardless of what cleanser i am using.
gets the job done.
and i don’t have to come out of pocket $50+ to do so.
you my dear are welcome.
step three: seal your pores
i follow up with my favorite toner one more time.
seal my pores with cold water
then move on to
step four: moisturize
and my favorite moisturizer is also a simple product, protecting light moisturizer
which doubles as sunscreen.
and we’re all done.
now if you’re anything like me.
saving time in the bathroom is a god send
because now you have tackle
hair and wardrobe
and listen, anybody who knows me
knows i hate combing my hair.
i’m all about looks that allow me to get up and go.
and laying out my clothes the night before
almost never works
because i STILL end up trying on my entire closet
just to put on what i picked out in the first place.
don’t judge my life.
work in progress.
